Satsang timings:

8:35 AM – 10:15 AM Satsanga I for adults & Bala Vihar grades Pre-KG to 12

10:30 AM – 11:15 AM Language classes, Bhajana/Orchestra/Slokathon and Adult Chanting

11:20 AM – 1:00 PM Satsanga II for adults & Bala Vihar grades Pre-KG to 10

Policy regarding the use of electronic devices:

It has been noticed that some members are using smartphones and other electronic devices during the adult satsanga. As shared on the very first day, we kindly remind everyone that the use of cell phones, tablets, or similar devices is not permitted during the session. Our satsanga is a sacred time for reflection and learning, free from distractions. To maintain this atmosphere of focus and reverence, we request your full attention and cooperation. Please understand that anyone found using these devices during satsanga will be asked to leave the class.

JCHYK High School Hangout Saturday, Sep. 27

Calling all CMH high schoolers (Grades 9–12)! Join us for games, icebreakers, and fun with friends at our Student Council–led High School Hangout.

Time: 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM

Cost: $5

Location: Chinmaya Mission Houston

Deadline to register: Friday, Sept 26th @ 3pm

There will be no registration allowed at the door on the day of the event

This event is only for CMH Bala Vihar registered students.

Pay online or at the Student Council table (cash only) upon check-in on Saturday.

Bala Vihar Open House Sunday, Oct. 5

Mark your calendars for Bala Vihar Open House on Sunday, October 5. More details will be shared next week.

Open House is a perfect opportunity for all parents to:

Meet with their child’s teachers
Get to know the current year curriculum for their grade
Get to know other children and their families
Get involved with Bala Vihar activities as a room parent

Chinmaya Mission Houston is deeply grateful for the overwhelming interest and support from the community for Chinmaya Mission Houston’s Bala Vihar program. It is heartwarming to see so many families eager to join us in the journey of learning our scriptures.

At this time, our classes have reached full capacity. While we wish we could welcome everyone immediately, we must ensure that each child receives the attention and guidance they deserve. For this reason, we are unable to accept new registrations right now.

We will be maintaining a waiting list for pre-k to 10th grade in both sessions and will reach out as soon as space becomes available. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, please fill out the forms using the following link: click here

CMH Navaratri Garba Friday, Oct. 3

We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming Navaratri celebration on Friday, October 3rd! This cherished annual event brings together our Chinmaya Mission Houston family for an evening filled with joy, devotion, and vibrant festivities.

Join us as we celebrate Maa Ambe with energetic dancing on live DJ music, all in the spirit of Navaratri. The evening will also feature delicious food included in the ticket price. This event is for the members and their invited guests only.
