New Member orientation Sunday, Feb. 8
An orientation for new members as well as for those who have never attended a CMH orientation before has been arranged. We encourage all new members to avail this opportunity to learn more about our facility and programs.

Pizza Treat Sunday, Feb. 8
Bala Vihar children will receive a special Pizza Treat in their classrooms on Sunday, February 8. Email regarding this has been sent to all Bala Vihar families on Tuesday, February 3. Please inform your child’s Bala Vihar teachers about dietary restrictions and allergies ASAP. Click here for more information.
Student Volunteers Needed for Mahasivaratri Sunday, Feb. 15
Student volunteers from 7th Grade to 12th Grade are encouraged to help with Mahasivaratri celebrations on February 15th at Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya. Help is needed to welcome devotees, collect fruits, flowers, and milk from devotees, offer milk to Sivalinga, distribute prasada, and assist in the bookstore.
Note that there will be no Bala Vihar classes or adult satsang on Sunday, February 15th due to Mahasivratri celebrations.

Holi Celebration at Mission Sunday, Mar. 1
The colorful and fun filled festival of Holi will be celebrated at CMH courtyard on Sunday, March 1, after Session II. The highlights will be Holi Fire, Lunch, Music, Dances, Games and COLORS. Tickets are $10 (adults and BV children) and will be available ONLINE ONLY starting February 8th. This event is for CMH members and their house-guests only.

108 Samashti Sri Hanuman Chalisa Havan Saturday, Mar. 14
Come as one enthusiastic Chinmaya family for an auspicious offering of gratitude, the 108 Samashti Sri Hanuman Chalisa Havan. Let us commemorate a thriving 75-year-old spiritual legacy, the Chinmaya Movement that began with Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda’s first pravachan on December 23, 1951 in Pune, India.

Gita Chanting Competition (GCC) Saturday, Apr. 25
In honor of our Pujya Gurudeva Swami Chinmayananda’s Janma Jayanti, Bala Vihar children are invited to participate in the Gita Chanting Competition. This year as we celebrate Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Chinmaya Movement, Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12 (Bhakti Yoga) is selected for the competition. The competition will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2025.
