Disaster Preparedness Workshop at Mission by Sewa Americorps Team – Sun. Apr.24, 2022
Hurricane season is coming up and we need to be prepared. SEWA International’s Disaster Preparedness team will present a one-hour workshop exclusively for our members at Smriti Hall in-person.
This presentation will also be streamed for our members to attend from home. The link will be the same as the link for Sunday adult Satsanga. The presentation will start at 11:30 AM. Members attending virtually should login at 11:25 AM
Those attending the session in-person, please stay back for this important training. We will serve light snacks during the break.

Gita Chanting Competition for Bala Vihar children
In honor of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda’s Janma Jayanti, Bala Vihar children are invited to participate in the annual Gita Chanting competition on May 7th 2022. Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 (39 – 72) is selected for this year’s competition.
Starting this year, the format will be aligned with the National Chinmaya Mission guidelines for Gita Chanting competition.

Zoom Classes will be held for children every Sunday from February 6th to May 1st from 8:45AM to 9:30AM

CMH Bala Vihar Graduation May 15, 2022
Chinmaya Mission Houston Bala Vihar Graduation will be on May 15, 2022 at 9:30 AM. This year we will be having the graduation ceremony In-Person at Chinmaya Prabha. Kindly mark your calendars and we will be sharing further details in the coming weeks.
