Gita Chanting Competition for Bala Vihar children
In honor of Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda’s Janma Jayanti, Bala Vihar children are invited to participate in the annual Gita Chanting competition on May 7th 2022. Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 (39 – 72) is selected for this year’s competition.
Starting this year, the format will be aligned with the National Chinmaya Mission guidelines for Gita Chanting competition.

Zoom Classes will be held for children every Sunday from February 6th to May 1st from 8:45AM to 9:30AM

Srirama Navami at Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya – Sun, Apr 10, 2022
Srirama Navami will be celebrated at Saumyakasi Sivalaya on Sun, Apr 10, 2022. Plan to participate in the special pujas on this occasion, with friends and family and receive Lord Rama’s grace and blessings.
Participate in the noon special Arati after Uncle’s pravacana.
The Details are as under:
11:30 AM – 12:00 Noon Sri Rama Astottara and Arati
6:30 PM – 7:30 PM Sri Rama Raksa Stotra Parayana and Puja followed by Arati
Sponsorship: Sri Rama Raksa Stotra Puja – $21 per family (sponsor)
Sri Rama Astottara Arcana – $11 per family. Sri Rama Astottara Arcana will be performed on request any time during the temple hours.
Temple Timings: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Chinmaya Mission Houston Bala Vihar Graduation will be on May 15, 2022 at 9:30 AM. This year we will be having the graduation ceremony In-Person at Chinmaya Prabha. Kindly mark your calendars and we will be sharing further details in the coming weeks.
