2. Gita Chanting Competition – Saturday May 5, 2012
On the occasion of Pujya Gurudeva’s birthday we will be holding the Gita chanting competition. Our Balavihar participants are whole heartedly preparing for this day. So mark your calendars and get ready to be enthralled by these children.

3. CMH Summer Schedule – June 3 – August 26, 2012
From June 3 to August 26, we will have our Summers Schedule, i.e. only one session of classes. The timing for Sunday satsangas will be:

Bhajana, Slokathon, Orchestra and Language classes will not be conducted during the Summer Session.

4. Graduation ceremony – Sunday June 10, 2011
On June 10, we will have a special program in honour of our graduating class. More details to follow.
5. Bhajana Sandhya by Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayanandaji
CCMT is pleased to be able to share the video recording of the fourth stuti (hymn) of the Bhajana Sandhya. In this Bhajana Guruji praises the glory of Lords Rama, Krishna & Shiva and encourages us to make their divine qualities our very own, by living them.

6. Upanishad Ganga on Doordarshan And on youtube
The rave reviews received from several of our members when the first episode of Upanishad Ganga was replayed during our Satsanga has prompted us to send this reminder. Most of these episodes are now also available for viewing on youtube. We therefore encourage you all to avail this opportunity to enrich your minds.

7. National Junior CHYK Camp in Brownwood, Texas – June 3 – June 6, 2012
The first ever National Junior CHYK Camp (NJCC) is set to kick off in Brownwood, Texas from June 3 – 6, 2012 at the Texas 4-H Center. Save the date!
This is an adventure retreat for teenagers in Grades 9-12, called Life is a Jungle – Are You Game to Survive?. There will be various planned activities such as a ropes course, zip lining and hiking.
Four acaryas will be leading this camp – Swami Mitrananda, Swami Sarveshananda, Brahmacari Girishji and Acarya Vivekji.
Transportation will be arranged to the retreat center from Chinmaya Vatika (Austin), and Chinmaya Chitrakoot (Dallas). These tickets will be available for purchase online. Transportation from Houston will be considered depending on the number of local attendees. Houston participants are scheduled to leave no later than Sunday, June 3 @ 2:00 PM.

8. Ayurvedic Consultation at CMH
Vaidya Sunita Tarkunde conducts Ayurvedic Consultations for members of Chinmaya Mission Houston on Monday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Tapovan room (the basement of our mandir). Each member will have approximately 15 minutes for wellness consultations. Please sign up at the welcome desk on Sunday for appointments.
There is no fee for these consultations, but donations are welcome. Checks should be made payable to CMH.
