JCHYK High School Hangout! – Saturday, January 21st, 2023
The Student Council is holding its inaugural JCHYK High School Hangout for Bala Vihar children in 9th to 12th Grade. This is a social evening filled with icebreakers and games for our high school students.
When: Saturday, January 21st, 2023, 3 PM to 6 PM
Registration: $5 for CMH High School Students
Please sign-up at the desk in the Dining Area on Saturday at 2:45 pm prior to the event.

We invite you to participate in our annual MahaMrtyunjaya Homa at Chinmaya Mission with friends and family and receive Bhagawan’s blessings for health and happiness. This is open for all.
The Homa is from 10:00 am – 11:30 am.
Please be seated by 9:45 am.

Chinmaya Mission Bala Vihar 2022-2023
Chinmaya Mission Bala Vihar is now accepting registrations for 2022-2023 calendar year for grades Pre-K through 12 (Pre-K child should have completed 4 years on or before Sep 11, 2022). Children will attend Bala Vihar in the same grade as their regular school grade.
- Virtual registration is available at chinmayahouston.org until Sep 5th.
- In-person registration will be available from Oct 2nd onwards.
- Detailed information will be provided at the time of registration.
- With exceptions as noted, registration will be open for all grades for both sessions. Exceptions: 11th and 12th grades are offered in Session 1 only (8:35 – 10:15 AM); Grades 8 and 9 in Session 1 (8:35 – 10:15 AM) are closed for new registration.
If we reach maximum capacity during the registration period, we may stop new registrations altogether for those grades.
