Lock-In Grades KG-4 Friday, April 10, 2009 – 7 PM

CMH youth is organizing a lock-in for grades KG through 4 on Friday, April 10, 2009. We need 12 parent volunteers to help with this event and spend the night at Chinmaya Prabha. CMH youth will be available for volunteer sign up near the book store after each session. Youth interested in volunteering for this lock-in can also sign up at the registration desk. There is a limit on the number of youth volunteers. A nominal fee of $5 will be collected at the time of registration to cover cost of food.

Registration for children in grades KG – 4 will require a form to be completed and will commence next Sunday, March 29. The registration for children is subject to parent volunteers signing up this Sunday, March 22.  Additional information will be provided next week.

Sunday Lunch – March 22, 2009

This Sunday’s lunch is arranged by the Makecha family in memory of a very dear and dedicated member of our Mission family, Sri Narendrabhai Makecha who passed away on September 8, 2008.

New Member’s Orientation on Sunday, March 29 at 10.35 AM

An orientation session for new members/members who have never attended an orientation presentation will be held in the 12th grade classroom on May 29 at 10:35 AM.

2009 Gita Chanting Competition – May 9, 2009

We will have Gita Chanting competition for Bala Vihar children on occasion of Pujya Gurudeva’s Janma Jayanti on May 9, 2009.

Pujya Gurudeva’s Janma Jayanti Celebration : Family Fun Fair Day – May 10, 2009

All of us – Bala Vihar children and parents have a homework assignment: “What idea or concept from our scriptures has touched you the most?” Convey your message on a poster board by writing an essay, a poem, or drawing. This will be your tribute to Pujya Gurudeva. Volunteers will be setting up a table in the dining area to sell poster boards and assist with the project.
