Bala Vihar Policies regarding attendance
According to our CMH Bala Vihar policies and procedures at least one parent must attend the adult satsanga in the Smrti hall when your children are attending the Bala Vihar classes. You cannot drop children at the Mission and leave.
Please refrain from using mobile phones during satsanga. Also, please come on time to the Mission. Doors will be closed at 8:45 AM and 11:30 AM.
Sri Rama Navami – Thursday, March 30
Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya will celebrate Sri Rama Navami on Thursday, March 30, 2023. Please join the puja with friends and family and receive Lord Rama’s grace and blessings. Also participate in the special Arati at noon.

Temple Hours for Darshan: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 08:00 PM
Rama Arcana will be performed on request during temple hours.

CMH Picnic – Saturday, April 1st

Based on several requests from members, as promised, the CMH Picnic is back!!!
Please click on the link below for more details and follow the instructions to purchase your tickets ($ 5 only) at the earliest. Given the parks limitation on capacity and parking, we may have to stop ticket sales once the capacity is reached.
Also, do not forget to sign up at the CMH Ticket desk for optional parent-child bike ride that will start at 9 am on April 1. Feel free to ask if you have any questions on
Sunday 3/19 or 3/26 before or after the session. We look forward to having fun with all of you.

Gita Chanting Competition for Bala Vihar children Sat. May 06, 2023

Bhagavad Gita Chapter 3 is selected for this year’s competition. Grouping of students is aligned with the National Chinmaya Mission guidelines for Gita Chanting competition.
Gita chanting classes will be held for children every Sunday from February 5th to April 30th in the rooms allocated below”
