2.  Gita Chanting Competition

Gita chanting competition will be held on May 8 on occassion of Pujya Gurudeva’s birthday. Bhagavad Gita Chapter 8 is selected for this year’s competition.

The competition will be held in 4 groups:
Group 1 :  Grades KG – 2            Group 2 :  Grades 3 – 5
Group 3 :  Grades 6 – 8              Group 4 :  Grades 9 – 12

To register fill out the registration form (one per participant) and bring to the Gita chanting competition registration desk by April 4, 2010 along with registration fee – $ 5 for each participant.

The Gita chanting classes will be held every Sunday at Chinmaya Prabha from March 7 to May 2 as follows:
    Session  I:  8:00 – 8:45 AM   

    Session II: 1:30 – 2:15 AM

3.  Contribution Statements for the year 2009

A few days back we emailed the following contribution statements:
     • 2009 contribution statements
     • Contributions made for the relief efforts in Haiti.  CMH has sent a check to “Doctors Without Borders” for this purpose.
     • Haiti donations qualify for tax relief on 2009 tax returns. See IRS site for details.

Plan to be seated in the class before starting time for each session – i.e. 8:50 AM for session I and 11:20 AM for session II.
