6. Gita Chanting Competition – Sat May 10, 2014
On the occasion of Pujya Gurudeva’s birthday we will be holding the Gita chanting competition on May10. Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12 has been selected for this year’s competition. The competition will be grouped by different ages.

7. Gita Parayana – Sat May 10, 2014
This year, on the occasion of Pujya Gurudeva’s birthday, we will also be having continuous chanting of the entire Bhagavad Gita. This Gita Parayana will take place in the Smrti Hall from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
This event is open to public as well, and we encourage you to invite your friends and family to this rare opportunity of continuous chanting of all chapters of Bhagavad Gita.
8. CMH Summer Schedule – June 15-Aug 24, 2014
From June 15 to August 24, we will have our Summers Schedule, i.e. only one session of classes. The timing for Sunday satsangas will be:

Bala Vihar teachers’ training will be conducted by Pujya Darshana Auntie on the above dates.

11. Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayanandaji’s Marathi talk on “Dasbodh” on Zee 24
As announced in the monthly announcement, as part of Pujya Gurudeva’s Centenary Celebrations, there will be a telecast of Pujya Guruji’s Marathi talks on “Dasbodh” on Zee 24 Taas channel every day morning from 6.30 A.M to 7.00 A.M.
Please note that to mark the auspicious day of Chinmaya Jayanti, the telecast date will start from May 8 instead of May 1, 2014

14. Ayurvedic Consultation at CMH Every Monday from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Vaidya Sunita Tarkunde conducts Ayurvedic Consultations for members of Chinmaya Mission Houston on Monday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Tapovan room (the basement of our mandir). Each individual gets approximately 15 minutes for wellness consultations.

There is no fee for these consultations, but donations are welcome. Checks should be made payable to “CMH.”
