Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav Celebration

Chinmaya Mission centers around the world will celebrate the Chinmaya Amrit Mahotsav throughout the year 2026, marking 75 years of the Chinmaya Movement. This milestone is an auspicious occasion to remember Pujya Gurudeva Swami Chinmayananda, reflect on the depth and reach of His teachings, and honor a legacy that continues to inspire and uplift generations.

As part of these celebrations, Chinmaya Mission Houston will host Hanuman Chalisa Havans on Saturday, March 14, 2026. In this sacred yajna, the Hanuman Chalisa will be chanted 108 times to invoke the blessings of Bhagavan Hanuman—for strength, courage, and selfless service. Through the power of collective chanting and sacred fire offerings, these Havans become a profound expression of spiritual dedication, cultural reverence, and universal oneness.

To prepare for this auspicious event, we will begin learning and practicing the chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa starting this Sunday. Let us all participate wholeheartedly so that, by March 14, we can chant with devotion, confidence, and unity during the Havan.

Please print a copy of Hanuman Chalisa and bring it with you by clicking on the link here.
