1. Summer schedule for CMH for the Month of August 2015

All the regular Sunday Bala Vihar classes, adult satsangas,  as well as all extra classes, will be closed during the month of August, 2015 at CMH.

All activities, including Bala Vihar New Year, will resume on Sunday, September 13.

2. CHYK Houston Day Retreat –  Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015

Chinmaya Mission Center – Beaumont

Attention all CHYKs and high school seniors! On Saturday August 22, Houston CHYK is hosting a day retreat at Chinmaya Mission Beaumont! This is a great opportunity to get to know Swami Paratmanandaji and interact with other CHYKs as well as ask questions and develop a deeper understanding of the Gita. If you are interested/have any questions join the CHYK facebook group for more.

Transportation and food has already been taken care so all you need to bring is yourself!

3. CMH Accepted for Corporate Matching Gift Programs

Chinmaya Mission Houston has been accepted into the matching gift programs at Chevron, JP Morgan Chase, Shell, Microsoft, Citgo, Apple and Phillips 66 (recent addition).

These employers match employee contributions made to a company approved non-profit organization. If you are an employee of one of these companies, please avail of this facility by contacting the appropriate department within your organization. Some

employers like Chevron even match employee volunteer hours by making a financial contribution that they compute based on the number of volunteer hours an employee has put in.

As announced, please note, that CMH has now been registered with the AmazonSmile program. This means that every time a CMH member buys through AmazonSmile,  CMH receives .5% of our member purchases as donation from Amazon.
