2.   Special VSN Puja by Balavihar Children this coming Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019

Our children have completed learning the chanting and the meaning of 108 names of Lord Vishnu over the past nine years. This is a very special occasion and we will be celebrating with a special puja performed by children on Sunday, Jan. 13 in both sessions.  The puja will be followed by a special treat from Pujya Uncle and Aunty. Children will be served pizza after puja in both sessions.

Please plan to attend this special celebration for children and be at the mission well in time dressed in festive clothes. It will be a treat for adult also. 

Please make note of the following information regarding the event:

1. As we expect a full house, please come early and ensure that children are seated by 8:30 and 11:15a.m in Sarasvati Nilayam. Children who are late may not be able to take part in the puja.
2. Children should not bring any bags or books.  Just come dressed in festive clothes and a big chinmaya smile.
3. All puja samagri will be provided to the children including the 108 pennies with which they will perform the Namavali puja.
4. It is our tradition to offer daksina after puja. So please make sure to send daksina in a sealed envelope with your child.
5. Arrangements are being made for cheese less and gluten free pizza. However it is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that your child’s unique dietary needs are taken care of and that we have an accurate head count. So please let your child’s Balavihar class teacher know your child’s special dietary needs asap, latest by Friday evening.

1. As parking is tight, we request that first session members leave right after their session.
2. We will not be having extra classes on Jan 13th.

Saturday & Sunday (no change)

Afternoon:   5:00pm – 8:00pm

All special pujas, including Monday Abhisekam, Pradosam, Satyanarayana Puja and Ganesa Puja will be performed as scheduled.
