Sri Rama Navami will be celebrated at Saumyakasi Sivalaya on Sat. Apr. 13, 2019. Plan to participate in the special pujas on this occasion, with friends and family and receive Lord Rama’s grace and blessings. The Details are as under:

7:00 PM – 8:30 PM:        Sri Rama Raksa Stotra Parayana and Puja followed by Arati/Prasada

Sri Rama Astottara Arcana – $11 per family.  Sri Rama Astottara Arcana will be performed on request any time during the temple hours.

2.  “Krishna Leela” Dance Recital – entire program now available on a USB Drive

We are happy to announce that the entire program of the beautiful dance recital, can now be purchased at CMH.  This will be on a convenient USB Drive, engraved with the title, “Krishna Leela”, and can be purchased for $30. 

You may sign up for your purchase this Sunday, in the Dining area, so we know how many to order.

We urge members to buy original USBs for themselves and refrain from making copies.  Remember all proceeds go to CMH and let us stay honest.

3.  Swamini Supriyanandaji’s visit to CMH   Mon-Wed Apr. 22-24, 2019

Swamini Supriyanandaji, head of Hong Kong center and author of children’s story books, will be visiting Houston. Please mark your calendars to benefit from this wonderful opportunity.

This seminar is focused on curriculum for children of ages 2-4. All interested teachers, parents, and grandparents of little children will immensely benefit from this seminar.

4.  Gita Chanting Competition (GCC) for Bala Vihar children on May 4, 2018

On the occasion of Pujya Gurudeva’s birthday, we conduct Gita Chanting Competition for our Bala Vihar children every year.

This year the competition is on Bhagavad Gita Chapter 17 and will be held on Saturday, May 04.

5. Jnana Yajna at CMH by Swami Ramakrishnananda –  Aug. 18 – 23, 2019

We are happy to announce that this year, Swami Ramakrishnananda ji will be conducting the Jnana Yajna at Chinmaya Mission Houston. Swamiji has a unique and jovial style of communicating with his audience, which makes his discourses very entertaining and enlightening, be it Vedanta, Gita, Bhagavatam, Ramayana or even a course in Easy Sanskrit.
