Gita Chanting Competition (GCC) Saturday, Apr. 25
In honor of Pujya Gurudeva’s Janma Jayanti and the 75th anniversary of the Chinmaya Movement, we invite all Bala Vihar children to participate in this year’s Gita Chanting Competition!
IMPORTANT:
- Session I, Gudakesa and Dhananjaya groups are requested to attend the class to learn the meanings in room S201 (Gr-8) at 10:30 am on Sunday, March 29.
- Session II, Bharata group students will have Gita chanting class in room N205A (classroom inside the library), on March 29th only.
Selected Chapter: Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12 (Bhakti Yoga)
CMH Competition Date: Saturday, April 25
Last Date for Registration: Tuesday, March 31
GCC Classes: Sundays, till April 19th

Lock-In for Bala Vihar Grades 5 to 8 Friday, Apr. 3
The Student Council is holding its annual Lock-In for Bala Vihar children in grades 5-8 at CMH. This is an overnight social filled with games and entertainment for Bala Vihar children and is a much-awaited event.
Drop off: 7 PM, Friday, April 3
Pick up: 8 AM, Saturday, April 4
Registration Fee: $10 for children & $5 for parent volunteers

Adult supervision is required for every lock-in held at the mission. We need more adult volunteers. We request interested parents to sign up as volunteers when they register.
The student council will be available at the desk in the dining area on Sunday to assist you with your registration and questions. Sunday, March 29th is the last Sunday to purchase your tickets at the mission. Spots are limited!

Collection of Bhajanas, Ashtottara Namavali and Stotras
With several years of effort, a long-time, devoted CMH member has consolidated and compiled a multimedia library of bhajans, Ashtottara Namavali and stottras, complete with Devanagri and English transliteration. All three books will be displayed at our book store.
