Bala Vihar Opening Day                      Sunday, Aug. 23

Join us this Sunday, August 23rd, for an exciting new Bala Vihar year and Adult Satsanga!

The timings will be as below for the opening day:

8:30 AM – 10:15 AM Satsanga I for adults, Bala Vihar grades PreK-12

11:15 AM – 1:00 PM Satsanga II for adults, Bala Vihar grades PreK-12

To ensure a smooth experience, please arrive early, as we anticipate some traffic congestion.

• Children in grades Pre-K to 6 should come to Sarasvati Nilayam and must be seated by 8:30 AM for the first session, and 11:15 AM for the second session.  
• Please note that the main gate to Chinmaya Prabha will close at 8:45 AM & 11:30 AM.
• We encourage all adults and children to wear festive Indian clothes to herald the spirit of the Bala Vihar New Year.
• Please make sure that children do not carry any bags or books with them on the opening day.
• Parents of Pre-K children are requested to sit in the reserved area in Smrti Hall.
• After the Bala Vihar classes, children in Grades Pre K – 3 must be picked up from their respective classrooms by their parents.
• Dismissal instructions will be given at the end of the satsanga.
• Please note that the library will be open for members from Sunday, Aug 30.
• Language classes, Bhajan, Orchestra, Slokathon and Adult Chanting will start from Sunday, Aug 30.

Bala Vihar Registrations

• We will not do any new registrations on the opening day.
• New registrations for wait-listed families are by invitation only on Sunday, Aug 30th.
• As we settle into the new Bala Vihar year, no session change requests will be accommodated.

Pujya Gaurang Uncle’s 80th birthday Celebrations      Sunday, Oct. 11

With profound reverence and heartfelt gratitude, we are blessed to announce the 80th birthday celebrations of our Acharya Pujya Gaurang Uncle. 

Please mark your calendars for this auspicious occasion to be celebrated on Sunday, October 11, when we come together as a family to honor this sacred bond, the life and teachings of our Pujya Acharya, and seek his continued blessings.

In the sacred tradition of Guru-Shishya-parampara, the Acharya is not merely a teacher but the guiding light who dispels ignorance, nurtures wisdom and leads the disciples towards truth and Self-realisation. This milestone is therefore not only a celebration of eight decades of remarkable life but also an occasion for the disciples to express their gratitude for the immeasurable kindness, grace, knowledge, guidance and blessings received at the feet of our beloved Acharya.
