2. Gita Chanting Competition – Saturday, May 7, 2011

Gita chanting competition for Bala Vihar children will be held on the occasion of Gurudeva Chinmayanadaji’s birthday celebration. Bhagavad Gita Chapter 9 is selected for this year’s competition.

The competition will be conducted in 4 groups. The Program will be as follows:

All children, volunteers and judges will be in Smrti Hall latest by 9:45 AM

3. Jnana Yajna by Guruji – June 27, 2011 – July 4, 2011

Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayanandaji will conduct a Jnana Yajna at Chinmaya Prabha on Astavakragita, a vedic dialogue between King Janaka, and his guru, Astavakra on attaining knowledge, detachment, and liberation.

Schedule for discourses will be as follows:

Bhiksa during Jnana Yajna

During the Jnana Yajna from June 28th – July 4th, members will have an opportunity to offer bhiksa to Guruji. There will be breakfast, lunch and dinner bhiksas. Interested members are requested to sign up at the welcome desk. The Bhiksa coordinator will contact you with further details.
