Sunday Adult Satsanga Class

Snehaji will be taking time off for her daughter’s wedding and her last pravacan will be on April 16. Pujya Uncle will be taking the Adult Satsanga classes from on April 23 and will continue till we close for summer on May 21.

Lock-In for Bala Vihar Grades 5 through 8 Friday, April 21 2023

The Student Council is holding its annual Lock-In for Grades 5 through 8. This is a social evening filled with games and entertainment for our children and is a much awaited event.

From: Friday, April 21, 7:00 PM

To: Saturday, April 22, 8:00 AM

Tickets: $10/- for children & $ 5/- for volunteers

Cash or Check Accepted

Adult supervision is required for every lock-in held at the mission. We request interested adults to sign up at the ticket desk.

Spots are limited to the first 120 children and 30 volunteers. Sunday, April 16 is the last day to purchase your tickets.

Chinmaya Mission’s worldwide head, Mukhya Swami Swaroopanandaji is coming to Chinmaya Mission Houston in the month of August. Avail of this great opportunity and plan your Summer schedule around this event. We will convey the details including Bhiksa opportunities in the coming months.

Gita Chanting Competition for Bala Vihar children Sat. May 06, 2023

Bhagavad Gita Chapter 3 is selected for this year’s competition. The grouping of students is aligned with the National Chinmaya Mission guidelines for the Gita Chanting competition.

Gita chanting classes will be held for children every Sunday from February 5th to April 30^th in the rooms allocated below.

** Medhavi group students can first join the class according to their grade level, and then move to other classes as needed.
