Bala Vihar Re-enrolment Process for 2009-2010
Families whose children are currently enrolled in Bala Vihar should have received their pre-populated re-enrolment forms by email. Please complete these forms and deposit them in a box labeled, “Bala Vihar Re-Enrolment Forms” located on a table next to the Bookstore in the dining area. This Sunday, May 17, 2009 is the last day for submission of these forms.

Lunch Program May 17, 2009
Smt. Jyotsna and Sri Kanimbille Jagdish are sponsoring lunch on Sunday, the 17th of May in memory of Jyotsna’s mother, Ushabai Acharya who passed away on the 26th of April.

CMH Senior Group – May 31, 2009 10:35 AM
With an increasing number of our members joining the ranks of senior citizens, we are planning organize a CMH Senior Group. The purpose of this group is to bring the senior members of CMH together and plan activities that benefit all. There will be a special meeting in Smriti Hall, between the two sessions, that is at 10:35 AM on Sunday, May 31st. Interested members are encouraged to join in.
CPR Training – June 7, 2009 1:30 PM
There will be a professionally administered CPR training made available for the first 100 of our members at a subsidized cost of $ 10 each for basic and at $ 15 each for advanced training. People who will take the advanced training will also receive a certificate from the administering organization.
We encourage Mission members – youth, alumni and adults – to take advantage of this session and be trained in CPR. There will be a separate table setup near the book store for registration. Due to space limitations, we can only take first 100.
Pujya Guruji’s Jnana Yajna at Austin July 6-12, 2009
Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayanandaji will be conducting a jnana Yajna from July 6 –12, 2009 at Chinmaya Mission Austin. The text for this Jnana Yajna will be Bhagavad Gita Chapter 9.
Chinmaya Mission Austin extends special invitation to CMH members to attend this Jnana Yajna and some of them will be willing to host some of the Houston families during Pujya Guruji’s visit in Austin, specially for the weekend.

CMH choir performs at MFA on May 17, 2009
Chinmaya Mission Houston choir will perform as part of the opening day celebration for the Arts of India gallery at Caroline Wiess Law Building, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston at 3:00 PM on Sunday, 17th of May, 2009.
