1. CMH Summer Schedule’s Last Day – August 26, 2012

This Sunday will be the last day of our Summer Session of only one session of classes. The timing for Sunday satsangas is as under:

10:20 AM – 12:00 Noon Adult Satsanga, CHYKs class and

Bala Vihar classes for grades PreK through 11

Bhajana, Slokathon, Orchestra and Language classes will not be conducted during the Summer Session.

Lunch program will continue as usual, after the satsanga at 12:00 Noon

2. CMH Stall at George Brown Center Janmastami – Saturday August 25, 2012

CMH will have a stall at this year’s Janmastami celebration, organized by the Hindus of Greater Houston Area

Time: 6:00 PM to Midnight

Venue: George Brown Convention Center

Our stall will provide an exciting opportunity for children to take a picture as Krishna and will also have various books, CDs and Media on display. The CMH youth has been working hard to put up this stall and we encourage all members to visit the CMH stall and encourage all volunteers.

3. No Satsanga – Sunday, Sep. 02 2012

There will be no Satsanga on Sunday, September 02 due to the long Labor Day Weekend

4. New Bala Vihar Year Starts – Sunday, Sep. 09 2012

Our two sessions of classes will start from September 09 2012. The timings will be as under:

8:35 AM – 10:15 AM Satsanga I for adults

& Bala Vihar grades PreK-10 & grade 12

11:20 AM – 1:00 PM Satsanga II for adults, CHYKs, Bala Vihar grades PreK-11

Please note all extra classes will start from September 16 only.

5. Bala Vihar Enrollment Confirmations for 2012-2013

Bala Vihar enrollment confirmations for the Bala Vihar year starting September 9, 2012 have been emailed. If you have not received a confirmation and you are not a new member (registered in the last 4 weeks), please send an email to CMHRegistrations@chinmayahouston.org.

6. Lost & Found Articles at CMH

The Lost & Found section has several items like book bags, left over items from children’s lock-ins, fake jewelry, reading glasses etc. Please contact the Welcome Desk to pick your belongings, if any.

7. Ayurvedic Consultation at CMH

Vaidya Sunita Tarkunde conducts Ayurvedic Consultations for members of Chinmaya Mission Houston on Monday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Tapovan room (the basement of our mandir). Each individual gets approximately 15 minutes for wellness consultations.

For appointments please sign up online (password: gurudev)

There is no fee for these consultations, but donations are welcome. Checks should be made payable to “CMH.”
