1. New Bala Vihar Year Starts – Sunday, Sep. 09 2012

Our two sessions of classes will start from September 09 2012. The timings will be as under:

	8:35 AM – 10:15 AM	Satsanga I for adults, Bala Vihar grades PreK-10 & grade 12
	11:20 AM –   1:00 PM	Satsanga II for adults, Bala Vihar grades PreK-11 & CHYKs

Since this is the start of our new Bala Vihar year we will have a special program. All children are therefore, requested to come straight to the Smrti Hall, at the beginning of each session. Children will have their Bala Vihar classes after the opening program.

Please note that on the first day, children are not required to bring their book bag.

Please plan to come early and be seated by 8:30 AM for the first session and 11:15 AM for the second session.

After the Bala Vihar classes Children in Grades Pre K – 3 must be picked up from their classroom by parents. For classroom assignment details, please click here.

Please note all extra classes will start from September 16 only.

2. CMH Navaratri celebrations –  Saturday Oct. 13, 2012

CMH will be celebrating one of its biggest and most fun filled festival of Navaratri Garaba on Saturday, October 13 evening, at the beautiful Berry Center on N. Barker-Cypress. All details are being worked out, and a web-flyer with all information will be posted shortly. Please mark your calendars for this event.

3. Chinmaya Mission West’s Bi-monthly Newsletter for Aug 2012 available online

We are pleased to announce that the August 2012 issue of CMW News, Chinmaya Mission West’s bi-monthly newsletter, is now online.

4. Ayurvedic Consultation at CMH

Vaidya Sunita Tarkunde conducts Ayurvedic Consultations for members of Chinmaya Mission Houston on Monday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Tapovan room (the basement of our mandir). Each individual gets approximately 15 minutes for wellness consultations.

There is no fee for these consultations, but donations are welcome. Checks should be made payable to “CMH.”
