5. CORD USA Read-A-Thon Final Lap

We are now in the last leg of the Summer 2011 Read-a-thon Program, for the benefit of CORD (Chinmaya Organization for Rural Development). We are sure our Bala Vihar children are availing this opportunity to treat their minds to wholesome books, while enjoying their summer vacation. Parents, for those of our children who have had a busy summer this far and could not read much, let us nudge them to read at least a book or two before the end of this month. Please remind them of how their contribution will help so many needy women and children in rural India.

It is now time to remind all sponsors of the program that children will be collecting their pledges by the end of this month, for further submission to the Contribution Desk in September. Please remember to print and complete the attached form which will need to be submitted along with your donations.

Please click on here to access the participation forms and here to access the flyer.

All donations will be collected by CMH on September 18, 2011. A table will be set-up in the dining area for this purpose. Tax exempt receipts can be provided for these contributions upon request.
