‘Tapovan Prasad’, ‘Balavihar’, ‘Mananam’ and ‘Chinmaya Udghosh’ are excellent magazines published by Chinmaya Mission. ‘Tapovan Prasad’ (published from India) and ‘Mananam’ (published from USA) are addressed to adult spiritual seekers, ‘Balavihar’ for children and ‘Chinmaya Udghosh’ for youth are published from India. We encourage CMH members to subscribe to these magazines. 2009 Gita Chanting Competition – May 9, 2009

We will have Gita Chanting competition for Bala Vihar children on occasion of Pujya Gurudeva’s Janma Jayanti on May 9, 2009.

6:30 – 8:00 PM:           Maha Mrtyunjaya Homa (Smriti Hall)
                                   Participate in a powerful ritual to evoke Lord Siva’s blessings for good health.

8:00 PM:                     Arati (Smriti Hall)

7:30 PM:                     Arati at temple, as usual.

Monday, February 23

9:00 – 11:30 AM         Rudra Abhiseka
                                  Participate in this ritual to bring peace, prosperity and family togetherness.

Parking On Sundays

Please park inside sliding gate on Sundays when you are attending Sunday satsangas.

Parking outside sliding gate is reserved for temple visitors.

A Request to Parents of Children in Pre-K – Grade 3

Please make sure you pick up your children from their Bala Vihar class immediately after the class. 

Lock-In Grade 5-8                     Friday, February 20, 2009

After a very successful family night, CMH youth group will organize a Lock-in for grades 5-8 on Friday, February 20. Tickets will be sold only on Sundays, February 8 and February 15, after both sessions.

Lock in for children in Grades K-4 will be in April.
