1.  Contribution Statements for the year 2009

This week we have emailed the following contribution statements:
     • 2009 contribution statements
     • Contributions made for the relief efforts in Haiti.  CMH has sent a check to “Doctors Without Borders” for this purpose.
     • Haiti donations qualify for tax relief on 2009 tax returns. See http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=218678,00.html for details.

2.  Lock-in for Grades 5-8  –  Friday, March 5, 2010

CMH Youth Group will begin registration for the first lock in for the year 2010 on this Sunday, February 21. A special youth group table will be setup near the book store for registration.

Last day to register for this event will be following Sunday, February 28th. There is no on-site registration. This is a ticketed event and the fee to participate is $ 12 each. Additional details will be available from youth at the registration desk.

Such events can’t take place without adult volunteers. We need 6 parent volunteers, at least three women for this activity. Parent volunteers must sign up with youth at the same desk, and we must have required parent volunteers to spend whole night at the Mission. We will not be able to go ahead with the event if we do not have adult volunteer support.

3.  Sunday Satsanga  –  Sunday, February 21, 2010

Plan to be seated in the class before starting time for each session – i.e. 8:50 AM for session I and 11:20 AM for session II.

The schedule will be as follows:
        8:50 AM – 10:30 AM       Session I                Satsanga for adults

      10:30 AM – 11:15 AM                                     Language classes for children
                                                                            Slokathon/Orchestra classes for children
                                                                            Spanish class for Adults

     11:30 AM – 12:15 PM                                     Chanting class for adults

     11:20 AM – 1:00 PM         Session II                Satsanga for adults
                                                                            Bala Vihar PreK-Grade 11
                                                                            Satsanga for Alumni
