Maha Mrtyunjaya Homa – Saturday, Feb 25, 2023
Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya performs Maha Mrtyunjaya Homa annually as part of the Sivaratri celebrations. We invite you to participate in the Homa with friends and family and receive Bhagawan’s blessings for health and happiness. This is open for all devotees.
Please note that the Homa is performed in Chinmaya Smrti. After parking, enter from the Bala Mandir entrance or from the Temple courtyard and volunteers will guide you to Chinmaya Smrti hall.
Time: 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Please be seated by 9:45 am.
Homa Sponsorship: $21 per family
Holi celebration – Sunday, March 5th
Where: CMH Courtyard
When: Sunday March 5th, after 2nd Session
Time: 1:00 PM onwards
We will have a lot of fun with Holi Fire, sumptuous lunch, music and dance, games and COLORS. This event is open for members and their houseguests only. Mark your calendars and get ready to buy tickets in the dining area after each session on Sunday February 26th.
Holi music and dance practice session for all is planned in Smrti Hall this Sunday after lunch.
Please note that the library will be open during 2nd session on Sunday, March 5th, for 1st session members, who may stay here till 1 PM and proceed for Holi Celebrations in the courtyard.
No online ticket sale is planned for this event. The prices are as under:
Adult Members: $12:00
Bala-Vihar Children: $8.00

Gita Chanting Competition for Bala Vihar children Sat. May 06, 2023

Bhagavad Gita Chapter 3 is selected for this year’s competition. Grouping of students is aligned with the National Chinmaya Mission guidelines for Gita Chanting competition.
Gita chanting classes will be held for children every Sunday from February 5th to April 30th in the rooms allocated below”
