2. Classes for Gita Chanting Competition – Sundays, Feb 09 to May 04
Bala Vihar children are required to attend classes for their own session.
Please bring printed copy of Bhagavad Gita Chapter 12. The file can be accessed from GCC page on our website.

3. Holi Celebration at CMH – Sunday Mar. 16, 2014
On Sunday, Mar. 16, we will be celebrating the colorful and fun filled festival of Holi after the second session at 1:45 PM, in the first two blocks of the back parking lot.
Please note the following:
- After the second session, those who are eating lunch at the Mission should quickly eat their food and then assemble in the first two blocks of the back parking lot for the Holi fire/Puja.
- After the Puja we will have prasada and color packet distribution.
- There will be a water station outside to quench your thirst.
- There will be festive holi music outdoors to add to your fun.
- Overflow parking will be at the adjacent neighbor’s – please follow the parking volunteer’s instruction in this regard.
- Once you exit with the color packets, please do not re-enter the premises unless you need to use the rest room, in which case please use the kitchen side door to access the rest rooms.
- Remember to bring protection for your car seats, wear white if you can and come with the fun spirit to mingle with your CMH family.
4. New Member Orientation – Sunday Mar. 16, 2014
On Sunday March 16, we will be having an orientation for new members and/ or those who have never attended a CMH orientation so far. We encourage all new members to avail this opportunity to learn a little bit more about our facility and its program.
Time: 10:20 AM
Place: In the class across the library on the second floor.
5. Lock-In for Bala Vihar Grades 3 & 4 – Friday Mar 28, 2014
The Student Council is holding its annual Lock-In for Bala Vihar children in Grades 3 & 4. This is a social evening filled with games and entertainment for our children, and is a much awaited event.
From: Friday, March 28 7:00 PM
To: Saturday, March 29 8:00 AM
Tickets: $10 for children & $5 for volunteers
A lock-in with so many small children needs a lot of supervision. We are therefore requesting interested adults to sign up at the ticket desk.
Spots are limited to the first 120 children and 30 volunteers. Registration for lock-in will be in the Dining Area. If you have any questions please contact the CMH Student Council at cmhstudentcouncil@gmail.com
