1. CMH Summer Schedule – Starts from June 6, 2010
During months of June, July and August, we will have Summer Schedule, i.e. only one session of classes. The timing for Sunday satsangas will be:
10:50 AM – 12:30 PM Adult Satsanga, CHYKs class and
Bala Vihar classes for grades PreK through 11
Bhajana, Slokathon, Orchestra and Language classes will not be conducted during Summer session.
Lunch program will continue as usual, after the satsanga at 12:30 PM.
2. New Member Orientation – Sun, May 23, 2010
There will be an orientation for new members in the 12th grade classroom (room across the library upstairs) at 10:40 AM. This orientation session is very useful and informative for all. All new members as well as those who have never attended an Orientation session before are invited to attend.
3. Graduation Ceremony – Sun, June 13, 2010
On June 13, we will have a special program in honor of our graduating class. Acarya Sri Gaurangbhai will have a special discourse based on Taittiriya Upanisad on Graduation Day.
Plan to attend this special discourse and celebrate the graduation of our graduating class. Children in grades 7 and above are encouraged to attend this program.
Details for graduation will be available soon.
Please note that there will be no regular lunch program on June 13, 2010.
4. Bala Vihar re-enrollment
Bala Vihar re-enrollment forms have been e-mailed to CMH families. Any questions pertaining to re-enrollment should be directed to CMHRegistrations@chinmayahouston.org.
Please print and staple the pages, make appropriate changes (if any), sign the forms, and deposit them in the box labeled “Bala Vihar Re-enrollment” in the dining area.
Please note that all the information for your family and children is pre-filled, including Bala Vihar grades and extra classes information. If your child was attending extra classes and the information is not on the form, please fill it out again. If you would like to enroll your child for any extra class activity, please fill out appropriate box.
The deadline for completing and submitting re-enrollment forms is May 23, 2010.
5. Sunday Satsanga – May 16, 2010
Plan to be seated in the class before starting time for each session – i.e. 8:50 AM for session I and 11:20 AM for session II.

6. Emailing Your Bala Vihar Teacher …
We have created a link on our website under “About Us/Our Bala Vihar Teachers” with a sub link for Bala Vihar teachers per session per grade. This will allow members to get in touch with teachers for communications about their children when they are absent for more than a week.
