Bala Vihar Opening Day – Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023

New Bala Vihar Year & Adult Satsanga start on Sun. Sept. 10, 2023

We are excited to start the new Bala Vihar year and Adult Satsanga from Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023. All teachers and sevaks have been working with zeal in preparation for the Opening Day. We request everyone to come early as we anticipate opening day traffic issues.

The timings will be as below for the opening day:

8:30 AM – 10:15 AM  Satsanga I for adults, Bala Vihar grades PreK-12

11:15 AM – 1:00 PM  Satsanga II for adults, Bala Vihar grades PreK-10

• All children from Pre-K to Grade 12 should come to Smrti and must be seated by 8:30 AM for the first session, and 11:15 AM for the second session. Anyone who is not seated by this time may have to sit in the Saraswati Nilayam.
• Please make sure that children do not carry any bags or books with them.   
• Please note that the main door to Chinmaya Prabha will close at 8:45 AM & 11:30 AM.
• We encourage all adults and children to wear festive Indian clothes to herald the spirit of the Bala Vihar New Year.
• Parents of Pre-K children are requested to sit in the reserved area in Smrti.
• After the Bala Vihar classes, children in Grades Pre K – 3 must be picked up from their respective classrooms by their parents.

Slokathon, Adult Chanting, Orchestra, Bhajana and Language classes will start from Sun. Sep 17.

For adult satsanga, Pujya Uncle will be starting a new text – Narada Bhakti Sutra, to open our minds to Bhakti yoga. The books are available for purchase at the bookstore.

CMH Navaratri Garba Sat. Oct. 07, 2023

CMH Navaratri Garba celebration, each year is one of the most cherished and loved festivals, enjoyed by adults and children alike. This popular festival is filled with music, dance, devotion, food, and is a lot of fun. You do not want to miss this one!
