1. New Year Puja at Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya – Sun, Jan. 01, 2017
Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya will perform Sri Ganesa Puja followed by Sri Visnusahasranama Puja to welcome the New Year, 2017. Please join us for puja with friends and family, and make an auspicious beginning to 2017 with the blessings of Bhagawan Siva.
The puja will be from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Temple Hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM – 08:00 PM
Arcanas will be performed all day long on request.

2. CHYK Camp at CMH – MLK Weekend Jan. 13 – 16, 2017
Face everything and Rise Retreat: Will you conquer fear, or will fear conquer you?
The Houston CHYKs would like to invite you all to join us for a fear-fighting weekend guided by Acharya Vivekji from Niagara Falls at the Face Everything and Rise Retreat over MLK weekend Jan 13-16, 2017. The camp will focus on overcoming fear and coping with the stress it causes.
It is open to CHYKs 11th grade and up, and will take place in the CM Houston center and at a nearby hotel. Registration is now open, at https://www.chykwest.com/houstoncamp2017/. 3. 2016 Contribution Statements
2016 YTD contribution statements have been emailed this week for your year-end reconciliation and planning purposes. You should receive a statement if you made a contribution in 2016. Please contact CMHContributions@chinmayahouston.org if there are any discrepancies or if you have not received your statement. Final contribution statements will be provided next year prior to the tax filing period.
