In order to prepare children for the Gita Chanting Competition (GCC), we will have Gita Chanting classes instead of Slokathon, from Feb 4 to Apr. 29, 2018. Slokathon children will attend GCC classes.

Chanting Classes for Balavihara children will be held every Sunday at Chinmaya Prabha from February 3rd to April 29th.
Bala Vihar children are required to attend classes for their respective sessions as below:

2. Mahasivaratri Celebrations at Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya – Feb 13 & 17, 2018
Mahasivaratri is the most auspicious festival celebrated at Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya. Festivities are planned for Tuesday, Feb 13 and Saturday, Feb 17, 2018 as below.

Mahamrtyunjaya homa is performed for the physical and spiritual well-being of family and friends. This event is open to public.

3. Lock-In for Bala Vihar Grades KG to 2nd Grade – Fri, Feb 23, 2018
The Student Council is holding its annual Lock-In for Bala Vihar children in KG to 2nd Grade. This is a social evening filled with games and entertainment for our children, and is a much awaited event.
Registration: Please sign-up at the desk in Dining Area on February 11th and February 18th (In Between the sessions and at lunch)
From: Friday, February 23 7:00 PM
To: Saturday, February 24 8:00 AM
Registration: $10 for children & $5 for volunteers
A lock-in with so many children needs a lot of supervision. We are therefore requesting interested adults to sign up at the ticket desk.

4. Holi Celebration at CMH Sun. Mar. 4, 2018
We are excited to bring back due to popular demand, the most colorful and fun festival of Holi celebration at CMH.
Where: At CMH premises
When: Sun. Mar. 4, after the second session
Time: 1:15 PM onwards
We will have a lot of fun with Holi Fire, lunch, music, games and color. So mark your calendars now. Ticket sales start in the dining area after each session on this Sun. Feb. 11. The prices are as under:
Adults – $ 10/-
Bala Vihar Kids – $ 5/-
Please note this time we do not have any online ticket sales for this event, so plan to buy them ASAP at Mission.

5. Gita Chanting Competition for Bala Vihar children – May 5, 2018
On the occasion of Pujya Gurudeva’s birthday, we conduct Gita Chanting Competition for our Bala Vihar children every year.
This year the competition is on Bhagavad Gita Chapter 16 and will be held on Saturday, May 05.
