In order to prepare children for the Gita Chanting Competition (GCC), we will have Gita Chanting classes instead of Slokathon, from Feb 4 to Apr. 29, 2018. Slokathon children will attend GCC classes.

Chanting Classes for Balavihara children will be held every Sunday at Chinmaya Prabha from February 3rd to April 29th.
Bala Vihar children are required to attend classes for their respective sessions as below:

2. New Member Orientation Sun. Feb 4, 2018
On Sunday Feb 4 we will be having an orientation for new members or those who have never attended a CMH orientation so far. We encourage all new members to avail this opportunity to learn a little bit more about our facility and its program.

3. Contribution Statements – 2017
Contribution statements for the period January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 have been emailed for your tax filing purposes. If you have not received your statement, please write to CMHContributions@chinmayahouston.org or stop by the Contribution Desk on Sunday.
4. Holi Celebration at CMH – Sun, Mar 4, 2018
We are excited to bring back due to popular demand, the most colorful and fun festival of Holi celebration at CMH.

5. Gita Chanting Competition for Bala Vihar children on May 5, 2018
On the occasion of Pujya Gurudeva’s birthday, we conduct Gita Chanting Competition for our Bala Vihar children every year.
This year the competition is on Bhagavad Gita Chapter 16 and will be held on Saturday, May 05.

6. Surya Namaskars by HSS – Practice and Benefits Sat, Feb 3, 2018
HSS Houston chapter would like to conduct a guided Surya Namaskar session at CMH for all our members. This is to create an awareness about Surya Namaskars and unfold its advantages in achieving a healthy body, mind and spirit. The details are below:

8. Mahasivaratri Celebrations at Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya – Feb 13 & 17, 2018
