2. Important Parent–Teacher Meeting for Language classes – Sun, Jan 28, 2018
On Sun. Jan. 28 all parents of various language class students are required to go to their child’s respective Language class rooms, for the first 15 minutes of the language class.
The purpose of this important meeting is for teachers to share with the parents the language curriculum and plan, for the next 4 months. Your presence at the meeting will help your child perform better and optimize his/her time in these classes.
3. Gita Chanting Competition for Bala Vihar children on May 5, 2018
On the occasion of Pujya Gurudeva’s birthday, we conduct Gita Chanting Competition for our Bala Vihar children every year.
This year the competition is on Bhagavad Gita Chapter 16 and will be held on Saturday, May 05.

4. Surya Namaskars by HSS – Practice and Benefits Sat, Feb 3, 2018
HSS Houston chapter would like to conduct a guided Surya Namaskar session at CMH for all our members. This is to create an awareness about Surya Namaskars and unfold its advantages in achieving a healthy body, mind and spirit. The details are below:

5. CMH Photo Directory
As mentioned last Sunday in class, in order to make our Photo Directory as inclusive as possible and to allow the remaining families to be incorporated in this project we have opened up additional dates for photo sessions, as below:

6. Mahasivaratri Celebrations at Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya – Feb 13 & 17, 2018
Mahasivaratri is the most auspicious festival celebrated at Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya. Festivities are planned for Tuesday, Feb 13 and Saturday, Feb 17, 2018 as below.
