Children in Grades PreK – 6 will be sitting according to their grades in the front lines in Smrti Hall. Teachers for these grades will be in Smrti Hall with them.

Children in Grades 7 – 11 will sit with their parents as usual in Smrti Hall.

Children in Grade 12 will stay in Smriti Hall instead of going to their own class at 8:35 AM.

2. Embracing Tolerance Essay Contest by Rice University for High school students

The Boniuk Institute for the study and advancement of religious tolerance at Rice University is holding an essay contest for high school students.

Topic: What are the key characteristics of a religiously tolerant culture? Identify and describe a few. Then explain how you would actively nourish them – concretely, explicitly, and specifically – to ensure that religious tolerance flourishes in any particular social context (like a school, religious congregation, wider community, or even country) of your choice.
