2. Gurudeva’s Mahasamadhi –  Monday, Aug 3, 2015

On Monday August 3, on the occasion of Pujya Gurudeva’s Mahasamadhi celebration we will have Pratima Puja & Paduka Puja from 7:30 PM.

Please plan to be seated in the Smrti Hall by 7:15 PM.

Please bring a decorated plate with padukas and/or diya, flowers and rice for puja, Prarthana Piyusa, a match box and 2 ziplock bags.

We urge all members to mark their calendars to join us in this very special expression of our deep reverence for our beloved Gurudeva.

3. Summer schedule for CMH –  July and August, 2015

All the regular Sunday classes, i.e. Bala Vihar, adult satsangas as well as all extra classes, will be closed during the months of July and August, 2015 at CMH.

However, we will have special programs and activities during these months. Please refer to e-announcements and plan to attend these special programs.

All the activities will resume on Sunday, September 13. Bala Vihar New Year will start on Sept. 13.

4. CMH Accepted for Corporate Matching Gift Programs

Chinmaya Mission Houston has been accepted into the matching gift programs at Chevron, JP Morgan Chase, Shell, Microsoft, Citgo, Apple and Phillips 66 (recent addition).

These employers match employee contributions made to a company approved non-profit organization. If you are an employee of one of these companies, please avail of this facility by contacting the appropriate department within your organization. Some

employers like Chevron even match employee volunteer hours by making a financial contribution that they compute based on the number of volunteer hours an employee has put in.

As announced, please note, that CMH has now been registered with the AmazonSmile program.
