2. Announcement from Contributions Team
- 2016 and 2017 pledge confirmations and statements are being emailed this week. If you have not received your confirmation by Saturday, November 19, 2016 or if there are any discrepancies, please email CMHContributions@chinmayahouston.org.
- Families who have offered their Gurudaksina pledge and have not received their Dipavali gift may collect their gift at the Contribution Desk on Sunday.
- Families who have not yet submitted their Gurudaksina pledge forms may do so at the Contribution Desk this Sunday.
3. CHYK Camp at CMH- MLK Weekend Jan. 13 – 16, 2017
Face everything and Rise Retreat: Will you conquer fear, or will fear conquer you?
The Houston CHYKs would like to invite you all to join us for a fear-fighting weekend guided by Acharya Vivekji from Niagara Falls at the Face Everything and Rise Retreat over MLK weekend Jan 13-16, 2017. The camp will focus on overcoming fear and coping with the stress it causes.
It is open to CHYKs 11th grade and up, and will take place in the CM Houston center and at a nearby hotel. Registration is now open, at https://www.chykwest.com/houstoncamp2017/. Early Bird Registration lasts until October 31st for $160 (this includes all materials, meals and accommodations for the camp) and please RSVP to our Facebook Event to stay updated.
