BALA VIHAR OPEN HOUSE   –  November 15, 2009

Mark your calendars and plan to attend Bala Vihar open house, which is planned for November 15, 2009. For last half an hour of the class for both the sessions, parents will have an opportunity to go to their children’s classroom, meet with the teachers, other students and their parents. This is an excellent opportunity to find about the curriculum for your child’s grade.

CLASSROOM CHANGES FOR BALA VIHAR

Please note that due to number of children in 3rd grade class, we have to make changes in classroom assignment. Grade 3 will be moved to 4th grade classroom which is larger in size. Grade 4 will use the classroom used by grade 3.

CMH BALA VIHAR RULES TO REMEMBER …

  – One of the parents must attend adult satsanga when a child attends Bala Vihar in grades PreK through grade 11.
  – All Bala Vihar children should attend the session that they are registered for.
  – Children will not be allowed in class, if they are not registered for the session.
  – Dress code for Bala Vihar is Indian dress or Chinmaya Mission T-shirt and long pants.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ….

We need your help in various Mission activities as listed below:

General Maintenance of CMH Prabha premises
    Nature of work: Replacing bulbs, batteries, Moving chairs/tables, 
                             Overseeing general repair work performed by contractors,
                             Helping with general up keep of the place.
    Time of work:    In between the 2 sessions or after the second session
    Number of volunteers needed: 5-6

                             We have a service for mowing, edging, blowing, weeding, etc.

PUJYA GURUJI SWAMI TEJOMAYANANDAJI’S VISIT

Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayanandaji will visit CMH from Dec 18 to Dec 20, 2009 for Prabhavali Dharana Mahotsava at Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya at Chinmaya Prabha.

The topic for his pravacanas during his visit will be ‘I am the brilliance of the Brilliant’.
