2. Bala Vihar Open House – Sunday Oct. 27, 2013
On Sunday Oct. 27, 2013, during the last half an hour of the Satsanga all parents will go to their children’s classrooms for the Bala Vihar Open House.
This Open House is a perfect opportunity for all parents to
– meet with their children’s teachers
– get to know the curriculum for their children for the current year
– get to know other children and their families in their children’s class
– get involved with Bala Vihar activities as a room parent for your child’s class
3. Annual Dipavali Puja – Sunday Nov. 3, 2013
Please mark your calendar for our annual Dipavali Puja and Guru-Daksina on Sunday, November 3, 2013. The Puja will be held in two sessions, starting at 8.30 AM and 10.30 AM. More details will be given next week.
4. CMH Family Night – Saturday Nov. 16, 2013
Our plan to celebrate Diwali as one big Chinmaya Family is off to a great start. Several Regional Teams have been formed and they are enthusiastically working on different aspects of the celebration.
Ticket sales will start from Sunday October 13, and will continue through next four Sundays. Tickets will be sold STRICTLY to the registered members only. Tickets are $10 per person (children under 5 years are free), and will include one entry coupon plus three food stall coupons. Extra food coupons will be available at the venue.
Total program time would be approx. 4 hours. Below is the outline:

8. Ayurvedic Consultation at CMH
Vaidya Sunita Tarkunde conducts Ayurvedic Consultations for members of Chinmaya Mission Houston on Monday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Tapovan room (the basement of our mandir). Each individual gets approximately 15 minutes for wellness consultations.
For appointments please sign up online (Password: gurudev)
There is no fee for these consultations, but donations are welcome. Checks should be made payable to “CMH.”
