3. Lock-In for Bala Vihar Grades KG to 4th Grade on Friday March 6, 2020
The Student Council is holding its annual Lock-In for Bala Vihar children in KG to 4th Grade. This is a social evening filled with games and entertainment for our children, and is a much awaited event.
Registration: Please sign-up at the desk in Dining Area on February 23rd and March 1st (In Between the sessions)
From: Friday, March 6th 7:00 PM
To: Saturday, March 7th 8:00 AM
Registration: $10 for children & $5 for volunteers
A lock-in with so many children needs a lot of supervision. We are therefore requesting interested adults to sign up at the registration desk.

4. Holi Celebration at CMH Sun. Mar. 15, 2020
We are going to celebrate the much popular, fun festival of Holi on Sunday March 15th, from 1:00 PM onwards in the CMH courtyard.
Please note this is a ‘members only’ event.
Ticket price is $6 for all Bala-Vihar children and $10 for all adult members.
Ticket sale starts on Sunday 23rd and will continue for next two Sundays in the dining area.

5. No Slokathon classes from Feb 9 to May 3rd 2020
To prepare children for the Gita Chanting Competition (GCC), we will have Gita classes instead of Slokathon, from Feb 9 to May 3rd. Slokathon children will attend GCC classes as under: Group 1 – Grades KG – 2 Group 2 – Grades 3 – 5 Group 3 – Grades 6 – 8 Group 4 – Gareds 9 – 126. Gita Chanting Competition and classes
Annual Gita Chanting competition will be held on Saturday, May 9 2020 for Bala Vihar children on Chapter 18 of the Bhagavadgita. Gita Chanting Classes are offered for Bala Vihara children every Sunday at Chinmaya Prabha from February 9th to May 3rd. Please bring a printed copy of Bhagavad Gita Chapter 18 to the class.
