2. Lock-In for Bala Vihar Grades KG to 4th Grade – cancelled – please collect your fee refunds

After due consideration, due to the general concern with the ongoing virus situation, we have decided to cancel the lock-in scheduled for March 9.  Our children’s safety is important.

You may collect your refunds in the Dining area from 10:15 AM to 11:30 AM.

3. Holi Celebration at CMH   cancelled – ticket prices being refunded

After much deliberation, in view of the ongoing virus situation, we have decided to cancel the planned Holi celebration.
Refunds will automatically be made for all those who bought their tickets, paying via credit cards. Cash/check refunds can be collected in person after both sessions, this Sunday, in the dining area.

4.  No Slokathon classes from Feb 9 to May 3rd 2020

To prepare children for the Gita Chanting Competition (GCC), we will have Gita classes instead of Slokathon, from Feb 9 to May 3rd.  Slokathon children will attend GCC classes as under:

Group 1   –   Grades KG – 2

Group 2   –   Grades  3 – 5

Group 3   –   Grades   6 – 8

Group 4   –   Gareds   9 – 12

5.  Gita Chanting Competition and classes

Annual Gita Chanting competition will be held on Saturday, May 9 2020 for Bala Vihar children on Chapter 18 of the Bhagavadgita.

Gita Chanting Classes are offered for Bala Vihara children every Sunday at Chinmaya Prabha from February 9th to May 3rd. Please bring a printed copy of Bhagavad Gita Chapter 18 to the class.

Class schedule is given below. Children are required to attend classes for their respective session.
