We will have Adult satsanga, Bala Vihar and CHYKs class this Sunday. The class timings will be as follows:

      10:50 AM – 12:30 PM Adult Satsanga, CHYKs class and Bala Vihar classes for grades PreK through 11

2. Sri Krsna Janmastami  – Wednesday September 1, 2010

Sri Krsna Janmastami will be celebrated in Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya on Wednesday, Sept 1. Sri Krsna Astami puja will be performed at 7:00pm Sri Krsnajanma celebration will be at midnight. Maha Arati is at midnight followed by prasad.

Arcana will be performed all day long on request. We welcome all to come and receive the blessings of Lord Krsna.

3. No satsanga – Labor day week-end Sunday September 5, 2010

4. New Bala Vihar Year –  Sunday September 12, 2010

Our 2010-2011 Bala Vihar year will start on September 12, 2010. We will resume our two session schedule.

Schedule for Sunday September will be:

       Session I   8:50 AM – 10:30 AM       Adult satsanga & Bala Vihar Grades PreK – 12

      Session II 11:20 AM –   1:00 PM       Adult satsanga, CHYK class &

                                                            Bala Vihar Grades PreK – 11

Language, Bhajana, Slokathon, Orchestra and Gita chanting classes will start from Sunday September 19.

5. Read-A-Thon-2010

The Chinmaya Mission Bala Vihar Read-A-Thon 2010 campaign is being concluded. There will be a special table set-up in dining area before and after class. Remember to

bring your completed forms with the collected cheques/cash to CMH this Sunday and submit them at this desk.

6. Chinmaya Mission on Facebook

Central Chinmaya Mission Trust and the Global IT Team of CCMT announced the launch of the official Facebook pages for Chinmaya Mission and Pujya Guruji Swami Tejomayananda.

Pujya Guruji launched the pages from Krishnalaya in Piercy, USA, by clicking the “Publish” button for the pages. “I don’t know much about Facebook,” Guruji quipped, “but I guess I have to face it!”

The Facebook pages will allow interaction between Chinmaya Mission, its members and the public. The pages include quotes, photos, audio, video and event announcements. Many more features will be added over time.
