Starting Nov 10, we will have classes for Grade 11 in both the sessions. Plan to attend the session you have opted for starting this Sunday.
2. CMH Family Night – Saturday Nov. 16, 2013
Our plan to celebrate Diwali as one big Chinmaya Family has taken a great shape, and this family night promises to be a memorable one! Several regional teams are enthusiastically working on different cultural items and food delicacies.

Ticket sales This Sunday, Nov. 10 is the last day for Ticket sale. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door. So please remember to buy your tickets this Sunday. Tickets will be sold STRICTLY to the registered members only. Tickets are $10 per person (children under 5 years are free), and will include one entry coupon plus three food stall coupons. Extra food coupons will be available at the venue.
Program Outline
There will be a detailed announcement in class on Sunday. The event timeline is as under:
5:30 PM to 7:00 PM — Bhathukamma activities
7:00 PM to 8:00 PM — Cultural program by regional teams
8:00 PM to 9:30 PM — Food stalls by regional teams
9:45 PM to 10:00 PM — Fireworks 10:00 PM — Event ends |

On the Event Day:
- Wear socks if you like, since we might be bare feet in the courtyard
- We encourage all to come in their best ethnic outfits specific to any region of India.
- Each member is to bring a long-stemmed flower to offer to Bathukamma
- Please remember to be seated for the cultural program
- Check the weather forecast; if the evening is cool bring a shawl etc. to stay comfortable.
- Please stay back and lend a helping hand to clean up after the event, as we do have regular classes on the following day.
3. Yoga Classes – Saturdays 6:45 AM to 7:50 AM
Yoga classes are conducted at CMH every Saturday from 6:45AM-7:50AM.

4. Ayurvedic Consultation at CMH
Vaidya Sunita Tarkunde conducts Ayurvedic Consultations for members of Chinmaya Mission Houston on Monday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Tapovan room (the basement of our mandir). Each individual gets approximately 15 minutes for wellness consultations.

There is no fee for these consultations, but donations are welcome. Checks should be made payable to “CMH.”
