1. CMH Navaratri Celebrations – Saturday Oct. 8, 2011

All members are invited to join in as one big CMH family to celebrate the joyous and pious festival of Navaratri Garaba on Saturday, October 8, at the beautiful & spacious Berry Centre on N. Barker-Cypress.

• If you have not already bought your tickets, you can buy them at the door for $ 10.00 each.
• Please plan to arrive by 7:00 PM to give enough time for parking, greetings at the door and visiting with Chinmaya family before Invocation.
• We have had an enthusiastic response for participation at this event and therefore, we encourage those who have dandiya sticks at home, to bring them to the venue so we have enough dandiya sticks for all to participate.
• Indian food snack items will be available for purchase at the Berry Centre Concessions stand along with their regular items.

2. No Satsanga Sunday – October 09, 2011

There will be no Satsanga or Bala Vihar Classes on Sunday October 09, 2011, to allow members to enjoy the CMH Navaratri Garba celebration on Saturday.

3. CHYK Camp in Houston  “The Game of Life”  – Nov. 25 to 27, 2011

We will be having our annual CHYK Retreat this Thanksgiving weekend from November 25 to 27. The theme of the camp is “The Game of Life” conducted by Acarya Vivekji from Chinmaya Mission Niagara Falls. There will be activities such as discussions, a creative writing workshop, “Vedanta in movies and music” workshop, and much more!

Young Professionals, college students, and Chinmaya Bala Vihar High School Seniors are invited to attend the retreat. The current cost of the retreat is an Early Bird rate of $130. However, this price is only good until Sunday, October 23, 2011 after which the cost will go up. Register today and lock in your rate!
