2. Bala Vihar Open House – Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011
This Sunday, we will be having our Bala Vihar Open House for the last half an hour of each session. This Open House is a perfect opportunity for all parents
- to meet with their children’s teachers
- to get to know the curriculum for their children for the current year
- to get to know other children and their families in their children’s class
Please check the classroom locations for your child’s grade below. Note that class A consists of children having Last name starting with (A-O) and class B consists of children having Last name starting with (P-Z).

CMH members who do not have any Bala Vihar children will continue to have Satsanga with Sri Gaurangbhai when parents of Bala Vihar children are gone to children’s classes for Open House.
3. CMH Annual Deepavali Puja – Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011

4. CHYK Camp in Houston – “The Game of Life” – Nov. 25-27, 2011
We will be having our annual CHYK Retreat this Thanksgiving weekend from November 25 to 27. The theme of the camp is “The Game of Life” conducted by Acarya Vivekji from Chinmaya Mission Niagara Falls. There will be activities such as discussions, a creative writing workshop, “Vedanta in movies and music” workshop, and much more!
Young Professionals, college students, and Chinmaya Bala Vihar High School Seniors are invited to attend the retreat. The current cost of the retreat is a Texas Summer special of $125. However, this price is only good until Friday, September 30, 2011 after which the cost will go up. Register today and lock in your rate!

5. CMH Photo Directory Ready for Pick Up Reminder
The much awaited Photo Directories have been picked up by a majority of members but some members have still not picked their copies up. All members who had their family portrait taken are requested to pick up their copy of the CMH Directory from the Dining Area.
6. Dipavali Puja at Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya – Wed Oct 26, 2011
Sri Astalaksmi Puja will be performed at Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya on the auspicious occassion of Dipavali on Wednesday, October 26, 2010 at 7:00 PM. Please participate in the puja with family and friends and receive Mother Lakshmi’s blessings.

Sri Laksmi Astottara-satanama seva and arcanas will be performed all day on request.
