Please continue your support in easing the traffic situation by following the guidelines:
- Barinbhai will control the traffic at Synott Road. Please follow his directions as you enter Chinmaya Prabha.
- PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF CHILDREN, OR FAMILY MEMBERS NEAR THE BUILDING. PLEASE PARK YOUR VEHICLE, AND WALK TO THE BUILDING.
- There will be volunteers directing traffic in the parking lot. Please park your vehicle in the slot where they direct you.
- PLEASE CARPOOL, SO THAT WE REDUCE THE NUMBER OF VEHICLES.
2. Dipavali celebrations – Saturday Nov 6, 2010
We will have Dipavali Puja and celebrations for CMH family on Saturday Nov 6, 2010 from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. All the details will be available next week.
Mark your calendars and plan to be there for this special celebration.
Please note that this event is for regular CMH family members only.
Plan to get your tickets for the event starting this Sunday. Tickets are $ 2 each.
3. Mauna Sadhana – Saturday Oct 23, 2010

4. Discourse on Introduction to Hinduism – Saturday Oct 30, 2010
Acharya Sri Gaurangbhai will conduct a special discourse on “Introduction to Hinduism” for students at Rice University course “Sacred Places”. If you know anyone who would be interested in knowing about Hinduism, you may encourage them to attend this discourse on Saturday Oct 30 from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM.

6. CHYKs Fly Together : An All Texas Retreat – Nov 26-28, 2010
Chinmaya Mission Houston Yuva Kendra will be having their first camp, “CHYKs Fly Together : An All Texas Retreat” on November 26th to November 28th ! This camp is open to Texas Bala Vihar Alumni, young professionals, college students and high school seniors.
