We will have Dipavali Puja and celebrations for CMH family on Saturday Nov.6, 2010 from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Mark your calendars and plan to be there for this special celebration.
Please note that this event is for regular CMH family members only.

2. Discourse on Introduction to Hinduism – Saturday Oct 30, 2010
Acharya Sri Gaurangbhai will conduct a special discourse on “Introduction to Hinduism” for students at Rice University course “Sacred Places”. If you know anyone who would be interested in knowing about Hinduism, you may encourage them to attend this discourse on Saturday Oct 30 from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM.
3. Email from Tarak Makecha
Tarak Makecha, graduate of C M H Bala Vihar and son of Narendra and Rupa Makecha is serving the country in Afghanistan. Below is an e mail from Tarak.

I just wanted to say I recently received the package from the 5th grade class at Chinmaya Mission. The food was really appreciated by all of my boys here. The letters were also extremely nice and very entertaining. Myself and my men can not thank the Mission enough for the support you are giving us, if you could pass that on to the 5th grade class I would really appreciate it.
Other than that everything is going well here. The weather is starting to cool down, but we are still staying busy.
I hope everything else is going well with Chinmaya Mission, and again I can not state how much we appreciate the support here. Thank you.
