10:30 AM – 11:15 AM Language classes, Bhajana/Orchestra/Slokathon and Adult Chanting
11:20 AM – 1:00 PM Satsanga II for adults & Bala Vihar grades Pre-KG to 10
Please note that effective Sunday, October 20, all children in the Smrti Hall must sit with their parents only.
Dipavali Puja at Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya Thu. Oct 31, 2024
Sri Saumyakasi Sivalaya will perform Sri Astalaksmi Puja on the auspicious occasion of Dipavali on Thursday, October 31, 2024. We invite you to participate in the Puja with family and friends and receive Mother Laksmi’s blessings.

Annual Dipavali Puja & Gurudaksina Sun. Nov. 03, 2024
You and your families are warmly invited to join the entire CMH family for our joyous and auspicious Dipavali Puja on November 3. This sacred ceremony will include Ganesa Puja, Sri Laksmi Puja, and Sri Visnusahasranama Puja, concluding with the offering of Gurudaksina.
Puja will be performed in only one session starting at 9:30 AM. We look forward to celebrating together!

2025 Gurudaksina Links Emailed on October 17
Personalized Gurudaksina links have been emailed on October 17 to all members for you to offer your Gurudaksina during this auspicious time leading up to and at our Dipavali puja. If you have not received your Gurudaksina email, please write to CMHContributions@chinmayahouston.org or stop by the Contribution Desk on Sunday.
Dipavali Food Drive by CMH Student Council Oct. 20 & Oct. 27
CMH Student Council has organized a Dipavali Food Drive for the Houston Food Bank.
High school volunteers will be accepting food items in between the sessions from 10:20 AM to 11:20 AM on Sundays, October 20th and October 27th.
The following are the most needed items:
Crackers
Granola Bars
Canned Soup – preferably pull top
Canned beans
Canned fruits
Canned vegetables
Dry pasta
Dry beans
Rice
Peanut butter

Temple will be open 7:00am – 2:00pm and 5:00pm – 8:00pm for Darsana and Arcana Seva will be performed upon request.

CMH Student Council Seeking New Members
We invite CMH Bala Vihar High School students, who want to be leaders and make a difference within our vibrant community, to apply for the Student Council for the 2024-2025 year.
The Student Council supports Bala Vihar activities, the CMH Seva team for Sivaratri, gardening, picnic, and Sivalaya activities, as needed.
